4 x Micro-bursaries for coronavirus lockdown sound recording workshops
I’m happy to offer 4 x £100 micro-bursaries for Coventry based artists / documentarists for an informal field recording workshop taking place during coronavirus lockdown. The workshop will be ongoing for as long as we remain confined to our homes, and to begin with will focus on the “clap for our carers” event taking place each Thursday at 8pm across the UK.
To participate / receive a bursary you need:
access to a digital audio recorder
to live in Coventry
interested to to explore document sound and field recording
available on Thursday evenings at 8pm
If you don’t require a bursary but are interested in taking part, I’ll be very happy to hear from you. It’s about listening, learning & community.
The clap for our carers recordings will form part of the development of the Phoenix City 2021 soundtrack with Abul Mogard, but rights in any recordings will remain yours.
The micro-bursaries are supported via what remains of a Road to 2021 grant, courtesy of Heart of England / Coventry City of Culture Trust.
